Apart Cascadas

Apart Cascadas is a three-star cabin complex on Obeid Street, in the residential heart of San Martín de los Andes, one block from the commercial district and six from Lago Lácar. That combination of central proximity and the scale of its facilities makes it a practical choice for family groups or groups of friends looking to base themselves in Neuquén’s tourism capital without sacrificing comfort or space.

The complex offers four cabin configurations: one bedroom for up to four guests, two bedrooms for up to six, and two three-bedroom options accommodating eight or nine guests depending on the bathroom layout. All units have fully equipped kitchens, central radiator heating, a log fireplace, an LCD television in the living room and a television in the main bedroom, a full bathroom with hydromassage, and daily housekeeping. Bed linens, bath towels, and pool and spa towels are included.

The covered heated pool is one of the complex’s standout features. Built with a glass roof and glass side panels, it maintains a controlled water and air temperature year-round and stays open until 11 pm. It has a shallow area for young children (between 20 and 40 centimetres deep), sun loungers, and changing rooms within the pool section. Adjacent to the pool, the spa includes a dry sauna, a jacuzzi for six people, a massage room, a treadmill, and a stationary bike, with its own bathrooms and changing facilities.

The shared areas are built for larger groups. There are two barbecue pavilions: one with a grill, a pool table, and ping pong; and a larger pavilion with three grills, a second pool table, ping pong, and table football. The children’s play area adds a professional-grade trampoline, a lookout tower with a slide, swings, walkways, and treehouse cabins. For more active guests, the complex has a padel court, a basketball hoop, and short private trails that wind up the mountain slope — all within the grounds.

San Martín de los Andes serves as the gateway to Lanín National Park and Lago Lácar. In summer, the lakeshore draws water sports, beaches, and trekking circuits; in winter, Cerro Chapelco turns the town into one of the most frequented ski centres in northern Patagonia. Apart Cascadas operates year-round, and thanks to the indoor pool and spa, its offering holds up equally during peak snow season or in the middle of the Patagonian summer, when lake temperatures and Andean winds can make heated water just as welcome.

Covered and open-air parking is included within the grounds. Optional services include transfers to the ski resort and the airport, babysitting, and massages either at the spa or in the cabin. A regional breakfast is not permanently available; its offering varies by season and should be confirmed at the time of booking.
