What happens after we receive a notice

After receiving a copyright notice, we may review the submission, request additional information, remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the affected party where appropriate, and maintain a record of the complaint for legal and compliance purposes.

After receiving a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complaining party. If applicable law requires restoration of the material and we do not receive notice of a court action within the required period, we may restore the material in accordance with our legal obligations.

Abuse of this process

Submitting knowingly false, misleading, incomplete, or abusive notices or counter-notices may expose the sender to legal liability. We reserve the right to reject incomplete, non-responsive, or abusive submissions.
