Palo Alto Multiaventura Park
Strategically located on Provincial Route 5, along the corridor connecting Villa de Merlo with Santa Rosa del Conlara, Palo Alto Multiaventuras has established itself as one of the most complete entertainment hubs in the Conlara Valley. The complex began its history in 2014 with an aerial adventure tourism proposal and took a significant leap in 2018 by opening the first water park in the San Luis province, becoming an essential destination for families visiting the region.
During the summer season, the aquatic sector is the main attraction on the grounds. Designed to offer safe fun in a landscaped environment, it features three pools differentiated by depth and activity type. For the youngest visitors, the area has two giant circular pools featuring a themed ‘mangrullo’ with water games, designed for safety with depths ranging between 35 and 50 centimeters. In contrast, the 10-by-20-meter main pool is oriented toward adrenaline seekers; there, you’ll find the slide tower over four meters high, featuring the dizzying ‘Kamikaze,’ the ‘Triple Racer’ for speed competitions, and the ‘Rulo,’ a curved slide. The entire sector is supervised by certified lifeguards, ensuring a controlled environment for recreation.
The aerial adventure offering maintains the park’s original essence, allowing visitors to defy gravity at different levels. The hanging bridge and zipline circuits are segmented by age and skill: ‘Palito Alto’ is adapted for children aged 3 to 6, while the Low and High circuits offer challenges at heights exceeding six meters for teenagers and adults. These courses culminate in a series of ziplines that traverse the property, offering unique perspectives of the Comechingones Mountains. For those who prefer to keep their feet closer to the ground, the ‘Tierra’ (Earth) attraction offers ground-level dexterity and coordination games, coordinated by professionals who guide participants through obstacles and traps.
In addition to these main activities, Palo Alto includes a sector dedicated to archery, where those over nine years old can practice their aim after receiving basic instruction on safety and equipment handling. The grounds are equipped with services that facilitate a full-day stay, including a bar with smoothies and draft beer, a canteen with fast food options, full changing rooms, a first aid room, and an accessory shop.
It is important to note that the park maintains strict rules to ensure safety and harmony. Wearing sneakers is mandatory for aerial and ground activities, and outside food, drinks, or pets are not allowed, with the exception of ‘mate’ kits. With its combination of vertigo, refreshment, and comprehensive services, Palo Alto represents a modern and dynamic alternative that complements the traditional nature and relaxation tourism of Merlo.
